1. Current pain points of carbon film electrodes for button-type supercapacitors


① Discontinuous production: The current production method is in the form of single film sheets. This method is inefficient and has poor thickness consistency.


② For traditional button-type wet electrodes, the requirements for subsequent drying and dewatering are very high. The residual moisture in the electrode after drying limits the service life of the capacitor and also has a relatively large impact on leakage current. Moreover, some manufacturers will use organic solvents such as ethanol in the production process. These solvents have great safety hazards during use and storage.


③ Binder problem: The commonly used binder is emulsion-type PTFE. It will introduce moisture and impurities during the production process, which will affect the electrochemical performance, especially increasing self-discharge and leakage current.


④ Poor weather resistance: In high temperature and high humidity environments, the capacity of existing materials decays greatly.

① Adopting the unique solvent-free "powder direct film formation" technology, after two rollings of powder, continuous winding is realized. Greatly improve customer production efficiency. There is no solvent introduction throughout the process, optimizing the performance of button-type supercapacitor products. The traditional multiple rolling processes are simplified to two rollings. Combined with continuous winding technology, the production process is more smooth and the efficiency is greatly improved. This continuous production method not only reduces manual intervention by supercapacitor manufacturers but also reduces production costs.


② The absence of solvent means that there is no organic solvent residue in the product. This not only improves the safety of the product but also makes the performance of the capacitor more stable and reliable. In addition, since the binder exists in a fibrous state, the contact between the active material and the conductive agent particles is closer, thereby improving the density, conductivity and capacity of the electrode and achieving low leakage current of the product.
