The results of the 2025 Science and Technology Awards hosted by the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society were recently officially announced. The project R&D and Application of Key Technologies and Equipment for Intelligent Dry‑Electrode Manufacturing, jointly submitted by Shenzhen Tsingyan Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., GAC AION New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Tsingyan Nake Intelligent Equipment Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Tsinghua‑Shenzhen International Graduate School and other partners, was awarded the First Prize.

In accordance with the society’s bylaws, the meeting reviewed and voted on several proposals regarding adjustments to council membership. Professor‑level Senior Engineer Cao Yongjun read out each proposal in sequence. After deliberation by participating delegates, the appointment and removal proposal for Dr. Wang Chen as a council member of the provincial society was approved by vote.

Targeting long‑standing industry pain‑points in dry‑electrode manufacturing, including poor consistency, low production efficiency and difficult precision control, the project has conquered core dry‑electrode fabrication technologies and developed complete sets of equipment. Its key innovations are as follows:
Developed surface‑modification technology for highly‑dispersed PTFE, and built a multi‑component composite binder system featuring “rigid‑flexible synergy”. It addresses critical challenges such as uneven material mixing, unstable pore structures and weak interfacial bonding in dry‑electrode production, and greatly improves electrode‑sheet consistency, mechanical integrity and electrochemical stability.

Proposed an integrated structural design of “multi‑stage blind‑hole array + chemically‑modified wetting + transverse mechanical reinforcement”. It systematically resolves common bottlenecks of thick electrodes: poor electrolyte wetting, low initial Coulombic efficiency and insufficient transverse mechanical strength. Synergistic optimization of thick‑electrode interfacial kinetics, electrochemical performance and forming stability has been achieved.
The Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society represents both industry recognition and a responsibility for further progress. Going forward, Tsingyan Electronics will continue to increase R&D investment, deepen industry‑university‑research collaborative innovation, improve mechanisms for cultivating and incentivizing technical talents, accelerate the commercialization of scientific achievements, and build an open innovation platform. The company will translate technical strengths into sustainable business value. With stable and reliable product portfolios, Tsingyan will empower high‑quality development for equipment‑manufacturing enterprises.
